“Ermington? Ermington, what? Where is it?” This might be your thoughts about Ermington. Well, this was our thoughts as well, when our friend, Tiho, invited us for a game of golf at this cozy suburb in the city of Parramatta.
This suburb located at the northern bank of the Parramatta River is home to one of Sydney’s mini-golf course, PuttPutt.
PuttPutt, is a ‘world class putting course’ ideal for families and friends. Its ambiance is a fusion of a fantasy and a “safari” land, which is perfect forage for young kids and children-at-heart to explore, while having fun playing putting.
Its three courses aptly named, Fun Run, Waterways and Jungle Trail specifically gives you an idea of the overall look of the place as well as the man-made mini golf course you will be playing on. Though relatively catered to families and children, the course has its extremely challenging tracks where ones ingenuity and ‘geometrically-inclined perspective’ are a must especially for those who are competitive players like me. (Whew! I never thought that geometry would be a lot of fun when playing putt!)
PuttPutt is located along Victoria Road in the suburb of Ermington. More details about how to get there are detailed in their website including the entrance fee and their contact numbers. Their staffs are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Thus, come along with your friends and families; and experience a day of laughter and fun at the PuttPutt.
When I was a kid, I thought putt putt courses were magical lands.
It sure is for kids, a land-of-make-believe! 🙂
